New R.A.D. Classes Offered
The cornerstone of R.A.D. System has its foundations in education and awareness. The course includes lecture, discussion and self defense techniques, suitable for all women of all ages and abilities. Classes usually last a maximum of 2 hours each. Woman who attend will be provided with a variety of self-preservation techniques and basic home safety preparations.

What is REVERSE 911®
REVERSE 911® is the original Interactive Community
Notification system. IT quickly contact citizens in a very
specific geographic area for communicating urgent information.
Geo-Zone Calling allows you to quickly send calls to any phone
number within a chosen geographic area. This module is extremely
effective for specific emergency notifications, such as
evacuations, crime alerts and searches.
Bulletin Board Service enables citizens to call and get
up-to-date voice messages regarding their community, including
such information as neighborhood crime, street repairs, school
closings, zoning requests, recreational events, office hours,
departmental phone directories, etc. Available in latter 2003.
Guardian Calling gives the Westborough Police the ability to
confirm the safety of special-needs citizens. The system
requires a coded "OK" response from the call recipient. Improper
responses, or no response, will initiate an alarm on the system
and can also generate notifications for a total of four phone
numbers and two pagers. These pre-determined numbers can be for
family members, or neighbors. Calling schedules can vary from
day to day and time to time, based on the needs of those being
called.
